Work that begins with one conversation.

Sometimes it is clear what is happening, but not what to do next. Other times it is hard even to name what is wrong. It may be a relationship, a decision, a change in life, or the sense that the same difficulties keep returning despite everything you have already tried.

You do not need a worked-out explanation, or to know in advance what kind of support you need. We start with a conversation. Together we look at what is happening, what you want to reach, and what way of working might serve you.

Perihoreza offers individual work, ongoing groups, and single lectures and workshops.

Individual work

Adolescents, adults, couples and families

Individual work is a space in which you can look at your situation more closely, without needing quick answers or ready-made solutions.

The purpose is not for someone to turn you into a different person. The work is directed at understanding better what you are living through, recognising possibilities you may not see at the moment, and finding a way to live and act well as the person you are.

How a session runs

A session lasts fifty minutes and takes place at Perihoreza in Ljubljana.

The first conversation is there so that together we understand what brought you, what would be useful for you, and whether our way of working suits you. Nothing has to be decided about continuing before it.

If you decide to continue, sessions are arranged as you go and run for as long as they bring you something useful. There is no minimum number of sessions and no programme you have to commit to.

Who the work is for

  • Adolescents meeting questions of identity, relationships, school, expectations and growing independence.
  • Adults in periods of change, important decisions, recurring relational patterns, or professional and personal strain.
  • Couples who want to understand their communication, recurring conflicts or distance better, or to make an important decision together.
  • Families facing change, questions of roles and boundaries, adolescence, or a demanding period in family life.

How to start

01

You write

A few sentences are enough. You do not have to explain everything, or have already found the right words for your experience.

02

We find the right person for you

We usually reply within two working days. Based on what you write, we suggest who at Perihoreza would suit you best and offer possible times.

03

You come for a first conversation

The first session is there so we can work out what you need and whether we can help with it. It does not commit you to continuing. If we judge that a different kind of support would serve you better, we will say so plainly.

Cost and times are agreed at the first session; nothing commits you before that.

You do not have to know yet what you need. We begin with a conversation.

Programmes

Groups that run week after week.

Ongoing practices with a fixed time and an open group. Entry runs through an introductory workshop; after that you come as often as you can.

More programmes are being prepared.
